Automatic Sanitization of Gloved Hands

AUTOMATED, TRACEABLE GLOVED HAND SANITISATION

Automatic equipment for sanitizing gloves and hands. Designed to dispense the sanitizing solution of IPA 7030 Sterispray.

The system enables the registering of all gloved hand sanitisations performed within the cleanroom ensuring the correct dose is given and at the correct frequency. All without the operator having to touch the instrument.

Its optical detector allows hands-free operation avoiding cross-contact contamination of the hands of nurses and operators.

Description

How does it work?

  • The operator is identified to the system via a silicon RFID tag that is worn on their wrist underneath their cleanroom garments.
  • A photocell detects the presence of their hand. An LED light creates a spot on the operators hand to help the operator ensure their hands are positioned correctly.
  • The automated mechanism then activates the bottle trigger and dispenses the solution at the pre-determined volume.
  • The system confirms the dispense is complete and records the information.

The system has been specifically designed for sterile cleanroom environments.

  • Once a bottle of IPA 7030 Sterispray® in placed inside it is ready for use. No tubes, no tanks, no cross contamination risk through bottle handling.
  • The system now offers a simple way to sanitise hands while minimising contamination risks and improving traceability to prove operators are sanitising their hands at the correct frequency.
