Description and Use:
Purtrex filter have an exceptional value for general applications where long life is required, high purity and low frequency parts. Manufactured by melt-blown technology patented microfiber GE Water & Process Technologies, Purtrex filter is a depth filter 100% pure polypropylene with an exceptional capacity for retention of impurities.
The matrix Purtrex graduated filter (low density on the filter surface with a progressively increasing density towards the center) can capture particles throughout the depth of the filter. This results in a longer life and less rechange than with windings filters or existing bonded with resins.
Description
The filters Purtrex not contain wetting agents, solvents, antistatic agents or binders, in compliance with the requirements of the FDA for contact with food and beverages.

Additional Information
Purtrex filter cartridges are made from heat-bonded polypropylene fibers. They are Certified that no resinous adhesives, lubricants, anti-static or mold release agents are used, or any other additive in the manufacture of these cartridges, and that the resin used to manufacture the filter medium meets the food contact requirements demanded by the 21 CFR regulations of the US FDA.
Upon request, the filter sealing materials and adapters may be FDA approved.
DTB filter cartridges are manufactured to withstand a wide range of chemical solutions.
